Sheerstone Project
Wombi Rock is a three-story tall crystal mountain inside Mohegan Sun’s Casino of the Sky. This monolithic functional sculpture was carefully crafted from more than 12,000 plates of onyx cut in Carrera, Italy.
We found the overall result amazing and hope you do too!
This was an exciting and challenging project, essentially creating a building within a building, bonding each individual piece of onyx to the steel support structure.
